Frequently there are changes in the executive boards of volunteer groups; we depend on the groups to help us keep our information up to date.  However this is not always possible.  In the event that a goup does not have a contact person listed or if you would like to update your group/organization please call the Town Office at 780-333-4477 ext 8, and we will do our best to direct you to the right person and/or update your goup's information.


50+ Graying and Staying

The 50+ Graying and Staying mandate is fun, friendship and a full life.  We meet twice monthly; the 2nd Monday of the month is meeting and coffee night at 7:00 pm and the last Monday is pot-luck night at 6:00 pm.

Ambulance & Fire Dept.

The Swan Hills Volunteer Fire Dept. cross-trains its staff in fire, rescue and ambulance skills.  Volunteers are always welcome, and must be 18 years of age, possessing certificates in CPR and Standard First Aid.  The Fire Dept. meets every Tuesday at 7 pm in the Fire Hall.

Outdoor Recreation Club

Since 1979 the club has been the premiere outdoor recreation club for outdoor enjoyment.  Its programs include competition shooting, archery, fishing, hunting, habitat renewal and fisheries enhancement. For younger people, the club offers instruction in shooting and hunter education.

Community Club

The Community Club is a local service organization that raises money for community projects and helps wherever they are needed.  Their main fundraising is done through bingos and proceeds go towards the Community Center upkeep, as well as other worthy causes.  The Community Club serves luncheons at different functions and looks after family clothing needs in times of disaster.

Swan Hills Community Fellowship

Maybe the oldest club in Swan Hills the Snow-Goers promotes snowmobiling, protects the rights and privileges of snowmobilers, promotes safety and enhancement of the Swan Hills trails and facilities.  The Snow-Goers also support ASA fellowship and hold many events throughout the year.  The Snow-Goers meet the first Monday of the fall/winter/spring months at 7:00 pm at the clubhouse on Krause Lake.

Swan Hills Dirt Riders

The club helps provide a safe and environmentally sound, supervised location for motocross activities.  The club hosts a Canadian Motocross Association point’s race each year.  The club meets monthly on Wednesdays at the track in the evenings.
