The Town of Swan Hills and Swan Hills Fire Department would like to thank CARDINAL ENERGY for their donation of a Defender Mobile water trailer. This trailer will assist with ground fires in hard to reach areas and hot spots that may occur as part of the Town structure and forest protection plans. The Town is very grateful and appreciates the commitment by CARDINAL ENERGY to help ensure the safety of the community.
Deputy Fire Chief Neale Rushoway, who is also an Area Foreman for Cardinal Energy, presented CAO Bill Lewis with a $7,500 cheque for the purchase of the unit.
